Guru I dont know where you get cash cost for Century @ 50c lb
In the September quarter, the Century mine produced zinc at a cash cost of US69c a pound including waste removal, compared with the spot zinc price of US55c a pound.
If the costs and price stayed at those levels, the mine would be cash flow negative despite a weaker Australian dollar.
Adding in depreciation and amortisation, the total production costs of US87c a pound mean the mine is operating at a substantial loss.
These are OZL's own figures and i have seen them in a number of other articles/reports, these are the facts im afraid.
Century is a cash negative dud until prices recover subtantialy, then it will be a printing press again. The problem is how long they want to bleed up to $200m a year waiting.
