Clients of his weren't allowed to sell, well, they were but they were to be banned from future IPOs. Doesn't matter if the client were IPO participants or a pre-IPO holder holding from a year or two before. Always nice to get a threatening email from him saying he will ban you if you want to sell stock in the 1st week(s) of listing. But there were always tons of selling driving the prices down after listing, which makes you wonder who was actually selling while clients were not allowed to sell. Hmmmmmm......something to ponder about.
