You probably need to accept that diamond exploration , while a science is a very inexact science.
Hence why there have been changes to scenarios relating to sources.
I'm sure you appreciate that erosion and emplacement of diamonds has happened over millions of years, with all of the vagaries of weather and geographical upheavals etc.
Trying to unravel what had happened and where best to explore for a source or several, would be an immense task.
If it were easy, we would have found it by now.
So I respectfully suggest that you adopt the attitude of Que Sera Sera.
Whatever will be, will be.
