JD, the advantage of the 4wd is it's agility. U can use an excavator, cut a track, and get it nearly anywhere. A big rig has the disadvantage of height. If the ground is truly shite, any sinking of a left or right track can be catastrophic - they become top heavy, and over they go. Prove up the quality of the resource, and THEN spend the money on ground prep, and bringing in the big puppies. I've no doubt LOM have a solid, and cost wise, prudent plan of attack. GLTA.
