People think LDX is all about their propriety products (Febridx and Viradx) but the fact is, they are a manufacturing and services company. They have this test alongside others such as the PheCheck test in development with others ongoing revenue is received from.

The announcement highlights the fact Hologic is not the only revenue producer with LDX and they have multi channels to generate annual revenues. The proprietary products are more or less additional to the business.
