Vitrual wards are just starting up after being accepted as workable models post the COVID virtual wards.

Some of these models are closer to hospital in the home - where if needed the team can come to your house and do testing there while others need you to come in. Justification is that its freeing up hospital beds, and a community team still costs less than a bed.
