Just to add to this, if the perspective of older patients is considered - they are normally on a cocktail of drugs for other conditions and antibiotics cant easily be prescribed to them. They need to have careful consideration of what drugs they can take. If they could have the test to determine the requirements on this, then that would mean less issues on the older patient as well.
