The Febridx product is a standalone to itself. It CAN be adapted to be used on the readers however it is running as a single use device. The product itself can be stocked in a GP office without the outlay of the cost of a reader etc.

CLIA waiver is only a US thing also. So the news around Australia/NZ and any other European announcements don't have that requirement, it can go direct into a GP office from the get go.

I agree though that the readers are a more long term spinner for LDX, however the Febridx / Viradx test is a higher margin return for the short to medium term anyway.
