No surprises there. The RATs that are around are doing a lot of damage to people's belief in their value, so many false negatives around.
I know when I first got COVID-19 symptoms I didn't even bother wasting my time with a RAT, I drove to the nearest PCR testing location. Unfortunately that is now no longer an option as the government has shut down the vast majority so it's take a RAT or nothing now.
My wife caught it first from her workplace and she tested negative for a week despite having some symptoms, her symptoms worsened so she tried a nasal swab on her throat and that showed positive.
I am disappointed that Lumos won't be having a local manufacturing site, but as things stand their survival is more important so they need forget about wasting their time with the useless TGA and get on with the bigger fish.
