Relying on the Zambian Government Authorities to correct the theft of the permit is a weak and one dimensional strategy that leaves the company at the mercy of another party that may not have any sense of urgency about this issue. ARE needs to commence it's own urgent civil action to reinforce to both the Government and the treasonous former JV partners that ARE means business and will not play a passive role in this theft. I also suspect that ARE could apply for an injunction to prevent the new permit holder from accessing the permit.
