Ann: LWP commences Proppant production at Pilot Plant, page-3

LWP Technologies Limited (ASX: LWP) (LWP, the Company) is pleased to announce that it has successfully completed commissioning and commenced production of LWP proprietary fly-ash based ceramic proppants at its pilot-scale proppant manufacturing plant in Queensland. The pilot plant was delivered within budget and without any significant setbacks.

The commencement of production represents a significant milestone in the execution of the Company’s business plan to commercialise its disruptive technology to develop lightweight ceramic proppants that are expected to supplant a broad spectrum of proppant products in the global hydraulic fracking market.

The pilot plant is located in the Brisbane Queensland, and is designed to:

- Validate proof-of-concept for the production of LWP’s fly-ash based proppant product as a low-cost and superior alternative to bauxite and clay based proppants; and

- Prove ‘scalability’ for the construction of commercial scale proppant manufacturing plants.
