Just an opinion, but the mining speculative end of town is a casino.
This mob has a patch of dirt that potentially could provide some serious numbers.
Approx 90% of the shares are held by retail investors.
Does not take much to frighten the living daylights out of them to sell their "small" packages.
Those that work the system then pick up the hanging fruit as the minnows depart in fear with a declining share price
Then when circumstances align - let it rip.
Could be wrong but the probabilities support my assessment
