The star is Koppamurra AR3's deposit.

Relatively small resource with potential upside.
Style of resource? Not too certain but seems to be a modified mineral sand and clay mix as distinct to pure clay hosted REE's.

As such there is potential for mineralised strand lines extending for significant distances as there is for mineral sands deposits world wide.
Does this help LNR? The nearest point of what is probably a nearology play is over 40 Kms from the centre of Koppamurra. Not exactly close but in the context of extensions on AR3 not a complete game stopper. The fragmented and relatively small size of LNR's holding are both a positive and negative. Perhaps too small for more than a part of a strand line deposit but multiple chances of getting one.

Grade and extraction are major issues for any REE deposit. The holders of these deposits suggest processing and ESG are manageable.

Swings and roundabouts. 0.1+-% vs 1+-%. Environmental issues which ever deposit style.

A small sample of deposits in the Ionic clay REE field. There will be many more and world wide as the search goes into lithium power like over drive.

Add to this Iluka in WA who are building a major plant. Haven't looked into it but probably for monazite that is a by product of mineral sands mining. Another resource for the not so REE.

LNR's Mt Clere project is some 60 Kms ENE of KTA's Tower project that is apparently just the tip of the iceberg for ionic clays on their ground. If REE clays are on LNRs ground and contiguous (albeit with gaps) with KTA's exploration targets then there is huge potential.
Ditto for the Esperance area of WA OD6 which have very large targets. DUN next door to their Splinter Rock mentions clay REEs some 10+Kms away.

The last two paragraphs were why I asked if too much REE could come into the supply chain. Brian Thomas and OD6 presenter said no.

These areas both have huge potential, if low grade, resources. As does the SA/Vic and Uganda etc etc...

Leave it at that for now. Steep learning curve with just a glimpse of aspects that are available. DYOR
