does anyone have an insight - outside of whats been announced about the processing of rare earths and recovery of gallium from such. I may be putting the cart before the horse.
but seems to my limited knowledge that's its a complicated process recover gallium upwards of $500usd kg which does not include mining costs. gallium sells for around $1000usd kg.
global market last year was circa 80 metric tonnes

I realise there will also be value in the other essential rare earths.

but extracting gallium through chemical reaction whilst processing bauxite for aluminium is circa $30 usd kg. and can be created endlessly.

if I can find this out from google. maybe this is why the needle has not moved.

just wondering if anyone else has better more accurate information.
