those air pollution factories have a terrible rep - internationally even these newer models are reporting failing as well; and as alternative power comes online, from free source like solar etc to augment grid what will they do? will have to come out in fees allowing safer and better company like M8S to gain share.

Ouside of where they are (logistics) and the volume (what... 25% of total Perth waste?), I can't see how they steal whole Perth market?

... I guess your point is, it will come down to cost at gate ... as people won't care if you burn as long as its cheaper to dump for the bottom line.

I think there is space for some competition before shutting up shop..M8S will have to focus advertising to its unique strengths and selling point - they can do deals with solar farms or set themselves a few panels if truly feeling threatened .. plenty of waste and many places needing to dump it..
