The price gets driven down by people in the know the capital raise is done as favours for friends and brokers and to keep these people on side for future benifts

Cap raise is done at a discount from VWap close to an announcement that should move the market enabling the capital raising participants a nice stag profit to sell into
They actually call them sophisticated investors lol
The last suckers at 0.048c were sold up the river and are now very very much underwater
The amateurs running the show here (proven by the after hours stuff up of an announcement) are treading on very thin ground and just might find the next lot of sophisticated suckers a bit harder to find

Rest assured any spike in the shareprice should be monitored very closely with a finger on the sell button
