Reward are pumping 2x1km trenches in the area where it plans to put it's ponds. RWD acknowledged in the past the huge variability in the near surface sediments so I'm not sure what this test is going to definitively prove? I'm sure you're aware that the only trench that has tested flows near over 1/3rd of the lake disappointment trenchable area was trench 6 which had some of the lowest flows (at least it didn't completely dewater like 4 other trenches!). I'd rather a representative sample over the whole area first, thanks.
A lower grade will only require bigger preconcentration ponds. With unlined on lake ponds this is not nearly a concern for economics/capital intensity. Of course that means more brine - assuming the whole lake is cleared the Mackay project will have 4x the useable lake surface area that you have at Disappointment, tick.
Keep chasing those bores - let me know when you get meaningful flows from this mystical basal sand layer that can't be meaningfully exploited at other projects, and has been a failed work in progress at Disappointment since the dawn of time. But you're right - Disappointment needs bores to be a viable project. I'll stick to the 20+ year LOM that can be easily delivered by trenches at Mackay.
I'm not sure what you were getting at with the Euroz comment - you sound tired and angry from doing your dough with blind faith over there at Lake Disappointment.
Rest assured this AMN share price growth, recognition of years of methodical project development and quality results, is just the start. There's plenty of money left to be made here.
