Bores are really really expensive compared to trenches and unlined ponds. You are no longer at the bottom of the cost curve and that’s one thing I really care about.
Of course there’s a limit; the lake bed area is finite. But so long as the trenches that fit can deliver 370,000kt of SOP at end of day I don’t care. I like facts and I like seeing them delivered. I don’t like “blue sky dreams”. Like putting ore holes in to paleo channels.
