I think some perspective is required. Why would any ceo or management team with substantial share holding want the company stock price to go down. Especially when launching into such a substantial project.
Mr Hyde founded the company sacrificed a larger portion of his life on it. Success was by no means immediate I think it's pretty short sited to think he didn't have hardships to get the company to where it is today.
Covid 19 closure of the world right on start up, 2 coups, rising terrorist threat and country gold seizures just to name a few. From my helicopter view I cant recall an exploration company going into ops in the last decade who has done it so seamlessly. All the while going at it in one of the most challenging countries currently in the world just do some research you will see that.
The share price is frustrating and it trades at a severe discount however I strongly believe that in the end fundamentals will shine through. Instos could be waiting for the debt deal to be signed to take any questions of dilution off the table. Not that raising money at 90 cents would be on the table. Personally I will be a strong buyer at this level I don't expect a miracle in the next few months however I do expect a strong pull out in the mid to longer term.
My primary worry is country risk ITS REAL. Endevour mining look to be divesting some of their operations there and a couple of mines have been closed in the last year due to terrorist movements. This is movements further south of the previous strong holds. Saying this Essekane and Boungou continue to operate in the worst zones of the country.
In respect I think MR Hyde deserves fair reward for starting the company and getting it to this point. In comparison to his peers I still think it's more than reasonable and most of his peers were not the people that envisioned and built the companies from the ground. I don't think we arm chair observers could make any sound judgements on the hardships they have been through to get to this point but I am sure there are many sleepless nights and endless days work and stress involved that we simply couldn't comprehend. The fact is fundamentally the company is being run bloody well probably it could use an injection of energy at the investor relation level but at the operational level kudos to all involved.
