As a holder for a few months who exited at a reasonable profit, I surmise that 'Mr Market' may view a possible rise in interest rates as of concern given ING's debt. There may also be questions about the acknowledged increase in frozen product inventory.
The sudden unexplained departure of the CEO is also a mystery. What happened? Logic tells me this can't have been good.
That said, the business remains pretty darn sound I'd have thought.
