Hi Gridder - the delay - apart from supply chain and labor shortages causing issues - it just might be as simple as has having to run safety checks and obtaining the appropriate govt department to issue safety and compliancy certificates. The wheels of govt are notoriously slow to move. The safety checks will not just have to be run on site - they will also involve how the system is remotely run from the system in the Perth office, shut down procedure and emergency response to site. I would expect these oversight procedures to take some weeks to be performed before a production operation certificate will be signed off on by the govt. I am not at all surprised that this project has run over the anticipated start date. This is also our first production site - the team will have learnt a lot from the process. Our next site to production should be faster.
We need to take a chill pill - we are dealing with gas and a safe supply operation is all.
