MQG opened down $4 or so but recovered a bit and then fell a bit, before starting a run up and is now up $1.50 (12.10pm). I can only assume that the run up follows an assessment of the results by the more knowledgeable members of the financial investment community (rule me out of that) whereas the early panic was retail investors (who are well known for panic and exuberance).
