Sorry I readthe announcement incorrectly thinking 1H22 was going to be slightly down on 1H21(which would be a very bad result) instead of comparing it to 2H21.
2H21 wasnearly $2bn so assuming they make $2bn again in 1H22 (as they usually under promise)then that means they are on track for a $4bn annual profit if they make another $2bn in 2H22
1H21 was only$985m so 1H22 at nearly $2b is a great result. I think most analysts have Full Year 2022profit at $3.2bn.
I hope I’ve read it correctly this time. Will be interesting to see how market reacts as the stock has run up quite hard.
