This is good news. Those US lithium clay deposits are notoriously difficult technically and would just be a distraction. Also permitting for them can be a nightmare. Look at Thacker Pass. It would have taken years to get that project anywhere, if at all, eating up explortion budgets, management focus etc. The market can now focus on this as a WA iron ore play with near-term production delivery.
Also very good to see capital structure reduced significantly.
