Thank you for the offer of resources but I think I am OK. I now also have a better understanding. I was aware of passive and active management but had not really appreciated the difference between open and closed funds. I hold investments in both including Vanguard funds as a part of risk management.
I do think Magellan could have been more forthcoming in the offer PDS.
