you are using words like "stressful". You are the one stressing out every time someone mentions "consolidation"

I think before pointing fingers at others, you need to reconcile with your issues.

and no one is expecting funding now but you have to call out the mgmt's mistakes. We wouldn't be here had it not been for the consolidation.

Why try and meet expectations, when you are not even close to getting funding. what was the urgency?
Why not put it off till a later point. Why didn't they wait for the final results to come out and if the results are in MGT's favor then could have done the consolidation then.

These are legitimate questions. Just bury our heads in the sand and pretending it never happened will not help.
