Well it has managed to do one thing......bring the sellers into the market.
Those who wish to sell can sell, those who can see a future in EV's and the batteries that run them can buy.
The high cost of borrowing is the pivot point for many, perhaps better deals could have been scripted but capital allows to advance the investment and first mover positioning means that the opportunity is only there for a short period.
The balance of the supply of raw materials, new technology, need and restricted competition says to me that the investment outways the high cost of borrowing.
