Few points. ”in the industry”….specifics or you’re just throwing shade. As a plumber, I own a shovel…and have dug some ripper holes, but I don’t call myself a geologist. These days “ in the industry” can mean you shared stories with your cousins mates at the bowlo, one of which is a janitor at a Santos camp at Narrabri.
Don’t think there’s any doubt Santos are stringing this one out, but every analyst I’ve researched has Comet not being profitable until 2026/7.
Can’t recall the exact figure without looking it up but that fine analytical tool, Simply Wall Street has Comet trading at 97% below fair value…. For those that miss the sarcasm it’s like a US version of Motley Fool.
I guess what I’m saying is y’all got an opinion, but someone must be wrong.
