Good luck to you MIstragic - it's your issue how you view it, your problem if you cannot "wait till Xmas". There is never a guarantee of that timeline anyway, when I mention Christmas I am fairly inclined to believe that something material will come before that.
But I don't view it how you do, and when I first invested I was hopeful of a short term return but prepared for a medium term return.
