No discovery hole but thesis still in tact... 10/10 Tick!
- FW220010 intersects intrusive rocks from 189m down-hole... Hydrothermal alteration and veining observed includes widespread silica, chlorite-epidote-sericite and garnet alteration ofthe intrusive units with lesser haematite, carbonate, potassium feldspar and biotite.
Tick - All the right ingredients!
"It is possible, thoughnot conclusively proved, that the igneous sequence intercepted by FW220010 may relate, directly or indirectly, to the largescale IOCG-style alteration system at Mount Lamb, potentially being a source of heat, fluids and metals."
Tick - Interconnected and closing in on the heat source ie hole 10 on left and hole 7&9 on right... note Olympic Dam goes down to 2.5km!
Next step, logging, assays and vectoring in on the heat source and redox boundary... hopefully Tick!
