So checking the web, around 90% of US bauxite comes from Arkansas. I think that most of the 10% balance comes from Jamaica.
There’s no doubt that the aluminium tariffs will force the US to increase production of aluminium ingots/ products, so in all likelihood their demand for bauxite will increase.
IMHO, I don’t see a reason why the US would increase bauxite tariffs since it’s a commodity which, unlike aluminium ingots/ products, isn’t in competition with ‘home grown’ bauxite. In any case, there would be a bigger demand for imported bauxite, so this bodes well for a more robust pricing.
