Bootu creek mine which as you rightly point out has run out of ore to be mined but produced around 800k tons per year. They have around 4 years left of the arrangement with E25 plus they hope to produce around 200k tons per year using the reprocessing plant at Bootu for the next 8 years and of course they own 13% of Tshipi which produces 3-4 million tons per year.

With an initial resource being so small (1.84m tons) I am pretty sure they will just keep drilling to add to the figure and will not even consider mining for a number of years.

Any manganese mine here will have to truck the ore to port and that is very expensive especially with oil projected to be sky high for some time. I hope a profitable mine is built here at some point, as BYH need to raise some funds in the medium term maybe they should consider a sale of their interest to OMH who now have the option to control the project with 51%
