I think they need to cut and log before saying - then XRF or black light to give a clue, however IMO the good grades will likely be shallower.
Hopefully by the time they have RC into good grades the price of Li will have recovered and stabilised, then we can expect full value to start accruing.
These results are a very big plus for the research into stratigraphy - specially since they were hamstrung by only having access to a limited Heritage cleared strip.
IMO not advice.
