It's pretty easy for a single seller to influence the price with only a modest parcel of shares.

Don't know whether it wasn't just someone shaking the tree to see if they could trigger a sell off, stop losses etc..
If you wanted to buy up before the announcement drop a few thousands at 0.07, see if you can trigger a sell off from nervous investors thinking the announcement will be bad and catch whatever falls out of the tree.
