The mine Tpa is around 7 times as great as Antler which probably gives some economies to scale ie they are using a conveyor to bring ore to surface , and given they are using a Road header (Tunnel boring machine ) I am guessing the rock is not hard guessing under 200 MPA which would keep costs down .
It also states they are using drift and fill as well as open hole stoping like at Antler , Is drift and fill a type of cut a fill if so it would not be cheaper than open hole stoping ?
Friedlands mine has terrible metrics , IRR under 30 guess it works out ok because the mine looks to have about a 10 year LOM or more .

Hi Plough - not sure if your "$23.48" was a typo but you'll see the last line in the table extract below as US$43/tn - I'm not sure about the other differences in the mine type / plan...just saying we don't know enough to be confident it is so wrong.
