Given proximity, it would be better for all parties if they simply built one processing facility. Never works like that in practice as egos get in the way but it would save millions in capex and streamline production, provided of course we have similar metallurgical basis which I cannot for the life of me see as being that different.
As a nation, we really have to get smarter about the resources and costs that go into production processes. I suspect if this was China, they'd just build one huge facility.
