The portable xrf is not as accurate or capable of doing full suite analysis.
Samples need, drying, crushing, pulverizing, homogeneous sampling, digestion if for ICP analysis or fusing to bead for xrf analysis. All run in controlled environment with sample controls, standards, duplicates and blanks. Portable xrf only good for field work.
