I'm not liking this 44 gallon drum test. I thought they'd use a few more sample to get sg.
Also shouldnt these numbers be just volumetric. so 124.7L rock from dump ÷ 220.5L drum × 2.73 s.g insitu rock from drill cores = 1.54 s.g for sample. this may have bulked further during excavation of the dump for the test sample, so maybe 1.75-1.8 s.g. for insitu dump.
Did they actualy test mc for the rock dump. 1% moisture makes sense for insitu rock, but it should be tested for the dump. When was test sample taken - so far Armidale rainfall for 2020 has been 365mm, enough for more than 1% moisture.
IMO without further testing, this looks more like 180 - 200kt.
Still not a shabby resource of easily won ore.
