What these idiots abusing me (and others) don't understand is one very simple fact, I do not intend to be buried with my stocks.

So (in order of likelihood):

1. I will sell if I think there is a better opportunity (the reason I sold ADT and RVR to switch to SUP)...this is not a 'dump', this is what I would hope anyone with half a brain would do. It also does not mean my view of the sold companies has changed.

2. I will sell if I think the SP has got ahead of itself too quickly, and then reinvest on pullback (which often backfires if they keep going)...this is not a 'dump' nor is it a change of view of the company. It also does not mean my view of the sold companies has changed. Unfortunately I probably should do this more often...it has cost me often not putting this into practice (FZO getting to $1 for example)

3. I will sell if I think the SP most of the upside has mostly disappeared for a stock (ie it has appreciated a lot). This is not a 'dump', nor a change of view of the company.

4. I will sell if my view of the company changes (in a negative way). This IS a 'dump'. Who the heck wouldn't???

I've been criticised on Twitter and on HC for not disclosing I'm a seller before I sell. It appears having a HEART means this is a sin. In the 20 years I've been on Hotcopper I have probably read a handful of posts (some of them mine, eg SL1 recently) where someone has admitted they are a seller BEFORE they actually sell.

I recently asked one such critic to post a situation where THEY disclosed THEY had been a seller in ANY post, even AFTER selling...and in fact asked them if THEY knew ANY poster that had done this...not surprisingly THEY couldn't.

But oh no, I have a HEART (which i only got this year)...so I must be an evil pumper and dumper. Strangely before I got this HEART this criticism very rarely popped up, but since, its all over the place.

Oh and by the way apparently someone posted on SUP that I had ALREADY pumped and DUMPED. I can't see if thats the case, perhaps the moderated post or someone on my ignore list, but if anyone wants to see my Comsec trades (including SELLS) since the announcement, I am more than happy to post a screenshot.
