This is a brilliant result and we are only just starting. New CEO has turned it around. Dont compare with the WA super pit or Victoria - once we step up to measured reserves closer spacing we will get back to a more realistic MC with improved metrics. This will be result in low cost extraction. Look at all that shallow drilling. Excellent for AISC. We should be in a totally different situation by end of calendar year.
I wonder what the current cash position is. Too many big unknowns to be guessing. Zaruma is hopefully settled. $2.5m o/s plus 20% from memory. $1.5m at 15% was due for repayment 31 May. But we have a good samaritan director who is lending 2,3m FOC - what a gentleman. Jerusalen sale was settled. That was over one million from memory.
