Here are my musings following today’s announcement - this is not intended as investment advice and is nothing more than the ramblings of a mug punter who thinks GRV may be onto something here and we can all make a few shekels if we’re lucky.

The JORC was pretty much as we all expected with no surprises there - good news is it will hopefully shut down all the bitching and moaning that GRV are hopeless at meeting their own timelines (I must admit to a degree some of this was justified).

I must confess that I’m a little miffed that GRV have now decided to shelve the proposed gas / solar hybrid power solution and look into geothermal alternatives. I understand this may be aimed at improving ESG metrics but have concerns due to the delays mentioned previously that this may further impact our progression of the Alpha project.

It would be good to know if the geothermal option is fairly advanced (and some associated timelines) or whether GRV are starting from scratch and any potential impact this may have on delivery of the PFS? And why the need to change from the solar / gas hybrid option in the first place?

I am in no way down ramping and have decided fairly early on that I will see this through to production unless something dramatically changes with the Alpha project and will reconsider my options if / when this occurs. I’ve said many times before that if GRV can pull this off that this will be life changing for many of us LT holders - just looking for some consistency and a little less ambiguity from the company in terms of the messages they are sending to market.
