Can't really see exactly what went wrong, however the remote location certainly seems to have been a factor. It seems also that the large CAPEX for the plant was an issue - so much for my flippant remarks in my earlier post.

The MEP deposit is not remote, it is of very fine grade (which is important), it appears to be vast, and management are competent and experienced players. Lets just hope that all this together makes the economics of this deposit stack-up a lot better than the Skardon River one.
