It will be interesting to see who takes LIN's offtakes. I am also not sure what viable options there are outside China, though Alastair has said there is lots of ex-China interest. I wonder what LYC will do with their Malaysia LAMP. Could LIN buy their plant and use for downstream operations given they have non-radioactive product? It could be that the initial offtakes are China based while they start to get the ball rolling and then potentially diversify their customer base as more Western options come online. LYC is currently stockpiling their REE inventories given NdPr prices are at 3 yr lows and they are expanding Mt Weld - so not sure they need LIN... time will tell.
