The article talks at length about Altech Chemicals patents and the reduced cost of processing via its patented method vs traditional roasting.
After doing some brief research it looks like they developed the Kaolin to HPA plant with SMS group from Germany who are leaders in mine processing and development. Malaysian plant is being built at present.

Altechs market cap is 145m. Early days for CR9 but there seems to be potential.
