It could be that institutional shareholders believe that AL still has his finger firmly planted on the M&A buy button (after lodging an unsuccessful CSA copper mine bid) and that will result in additional dilution for existing shareholders and that the next share issue will also be accompanied by a share consolidation due to the high number of shares on issue - share consolidations are not always friendly to the share price even though it should have no effect.
