I think there has been plenty enough drilling done to know what is there near surface which is likely why they haven't done much in the way of step out holes, it was only ever what was at depth that was in doubt hence why they likely drilled where they did in conjunction with the requirement for a JORC compliant resource. As for the wider area, well the following table contained in the latest announcement details a fairly extensive array of previous exploration inclusive of stream sampling, soil sampling, geological mapping, rock chip sampling, auger drilling, ground and airborne magnetics, radiometric and IP surveys



There is some vague mention in this announcement regarding "many significant and useful geological features that have been recognised at Pine Ridge" as potential future follow up targets as well as referencing analogies to McPhillamys gold deposit but that to me is the fluff I was referring to in my last comment. If they have something worthwhile at depth at Pine Ridge they will continue targeting depth extensions there with the RC drill, if not they may look elsewhere within the lease for secondary exploration targets. As it currently stands they haven't really committed to either other than to state "It is expected that further exploration at Pine Ridge will continue to expand this project, and this will be pursued aggressively". This again is vague and I think some clarity surrounding what they actually intend to do to support such an aggressive approach would go a long way in maintaining confidence in this project, hopefully a follow up announcement will be forthcoming shortly detailing their intentions.
