Sunshine mine, the biggest historic USA pure silver mine had a big strike right around 1979 to 1980, just as silver price ran up many fold to $50 because the local silver valley hard rock miners wanted a bite of apple too. Needless to say because of the strike sunshine mine did not produce and sell any silver or make any cash profits, only red ink, into silver price high and sunshine mine ended in bankruptcy a few years later. CYL need to keep the local tazmanian hard rock miners on CYL side. CYL need local tazmanian to be telling their friends and acquaintances about good pay and safe working conditions at Henty.
