@ryan0 I would really like to see your scenario play out and is why I have been invested in LSX since 2013! It seems to me however that the moving parts just can't seem to come together. If its not one thing its another. I reckon if Merdeka were to make LSX an offer right now it would have to be tempting. I just hope its a generous one!
I would imagine Federation would ideally like to monetise their share positions, as investing in junior gold mining companies is not really their chief objective. They can then use this cash to further advance their NZ underground activities. As a major shareholder of Federation I am reasonably confident Australian Super would not object to this course of action.
We will see.......
