My organisation can neither confirm nor deny that I'm Mark Richardson. MIM and Newmont conclusively answered the melon seeds question in 1975 and 1984, respectively. There's a population of ultrafine gold that chemically locks itself into a component of the host - and note that there's a lot of this component at Warrawoona. Everywhere I've seen this component around the world, there's been some deficiency with the metallurgical performance of an ore. However, the economic significance of this population is insignificant. There are bigger problems to face in all of this.

In my view, BBC's not to be touched without some serious drilling and geophysics, none of which has happened since 1991, apart from a half-arsed BHP effort in 1995. That said, BBC is the jewel in the crown. For short term cashflow there's a granted ML and a Resource near enough to Normay that has a very low strip ratio and fairly simple metallurgy.
