Certainly good points here. Whilst production ready might not mean we're digging stuff out of the ground on that day, it certainly means we're on the edge of mining commencement.
I've been invested in companies where announcements are few and far between, and where there has been plenty of good news to spruik, but with nothing but silence from the companies.

I definitely do prefer a proactive style, highlighting the good points for investors. With these announcements comes other info (usually grades from the drills, tonnage, points about DSO and the like etc.), so it's not all empty upselling.

Big mining is scurrying to buy up Ni resources - and there's a lot of nefarious share manipulation to be seen on prospective company's trades. Watching Mincor's share price manipulation was a classic. I guess it makes good sense to spend $200k to drop the SP when it's going to save you $300 million for a takeover bid.

I see plenty of robotic down-selling trades on Widgie, often a single $0.28c share at a time just to keep the price low, and scare others into selling out. If someone's willing to be doing that to buy cheap, it gives me a great deal of confidence in the future.
